16th Annual Wilderness Medicine & Survival Skills Conference

Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, October 2nd through 4th, 2026

41030 W. 151st Street South, Bristow, OK 74010

Welcome to Tier 1 Wild Med! We’re excited to introduce you to our annual Wilderness Medicine & Survival Skills Conference, a nationally recognized event that began in Hanover, Pennsylvania, and now calls the beautiful El Dorado Ranch in Bristow, Oklahoma, home.

This immersive, entirely outdoor conference brings together healthcare providers, first responders, military personnel, law enforcement, outdoor professionals, and adventure enthusiasts from across the United States and beyond for an unforgettable weekend of education, adventure, and community. Learn from internationally recognized experts and experienced instructors whose backgrounds span wilderness medicine, emergency care, rescue operations, tactical medicine, survival, and outdoor leadership.

Our goal is simple: deliver exceptional education through engaging lectures, hands-on workshops, realistic demonstrations, and immersive learning experiences—all while enjoying outstanding meals, beautiful scenery, and the camaraderie that makes this conference unlike any other.

Set on the scenic and secluded El Dorado Ranch, attendees can earn AOA Category 1-A and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ while spending the weekend camping, learning, and creating lasting memories with family, friends, and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Many participants return year after year, not only for the education but also for the friendships and professional connections built around the campfire.

This is a fully outdoor conference held rain or shine, so come prepared to embrace the elements—they’re part of the experience.

As a nonprofit conference, every registration directly supports the event by helping provide meals, educational supplies, equipment rentals, and other operational costs. The conference is made possible by an incredible team of volunteers, instructors, and supporters who generously give their time and talents to create an exceptional experience for every attendee.

Although our conference continues to grow each year, attendance remains intentionally limited to preserve the small-group atmosphere, hands-on instruction, and personal interactions that define Tier 1 Wild Med. Because of this, registration typically fills well in advance, and we encourage you to reserve your spot early.

We look forward to welcoming you to Oklahoma this October as we learn together, challenge ourselves, build lifelong friendships, and continue the adventure.
